A lot about Jason
Jason has led SHERMAN communications and marketing (SCM) since founding the firm in 2001. He and SCM help entrepreneurs to segment disruptors to Fortune 500 companies increase their brand value and sales through smart, creative marketing and PR. Simply put, Jason and SCM help clients figure out what to say, to whom and via what channels in ways that increase their positive standing, new business opportunities, customer loyalty, referrals and employee engagement.
Prior to beginning his own firm, Jason directed communications and marketing for: StudioNorth, a 70-person graphic and web design studio and its clients; iGive.com, the first online philanthropic shopping mall; dozens of clients of both a Chicago-based public relations firm and Shandwick (now Weber-Shandwick), one of the world’s largest independent public relations firms; the southeast Michigan region of RE/MAX International; and for clients of Ross Roy, a 500-person advertising firm.
Jason has especially strong experience in healthcare, professional services, all things real estate and construction, technology, automotive and transportation, the arts, non-profits and food.

Jason graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree (and was awarded Outstanding Senior Man by the faculty and staff of the advertising department).
